Currently I am employed full-time as a computer programmer in Jupiter, Florida, developing
database applications using Borland Delphi-5 and Oracle 8. From 1994 until 1999 I attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando as a graduate student and was awarded my Masters Degree in Computer Science in December, 1999. From 1984 until 1994, I lived and worked as a computer consultant in Germany, initially Munich and later Ulm. During this period I was extensively involved with the amateur radio satellite organization AMSAT-DL and translated numerous technical articles about satellites and related technology between German and English. Additionally I had the opportunity to participate in the preparations for launch of AMSAT-OSCAR-13 on June 15, 1988 with the Ariane-4 rocket "44LP" from Kourou, French Guyana. |
